This old pub caught my eye immediately during a walk. Inside is incredible, and it has a name for holding a choice of 600 types of spirits over an antique bar. Built in 1878, it has been home to many tenants over the years including a fishmonger, furniture store, cigar shop, florist, and most recently a series of restaurants. With such an iconic past, it had to be photographed.

I love depicting the location of something in street photography. When you are doing this, include things such as the street name signs, the building next door, or whatever is i the background. Give us a sense of place, a location of where your image has been captured, not just what has been captured. Utilise the landscape to give us a corridor of view, as if looking through a window, or down a pathway or even over a balcony.
