I love the playfulness of this image, with the little boy tugging at his dad’s hand. I clearly remember him calling his dad to hurry up, trying to get him to stop chatting to the information man. I have no idea what the hurry was, except for his excitement. It was a chance moment that had to be captured.

Be quick with your camera when you see a moment that might flash by, capture it. I always have my camera set to a standard bunch of settings for where I am going. If I am spending time walking the streets, Ill use TV (Shutter Priority) set to at least 1/100th sec, and let the camera work out the rest of the settings. Auto ISO will save you many times over in this scenario as well.
