Walking the streets of Seattle was hard work in parts. I was on my way down this street when I saw this girl come out of a house and I remember thinking that she has to walk this hill every time she goes into the city. This street went uphill for three straight blocks. I love sign pointing uphill as if gesturing to say “there’s only one way to go and thats uphill”

PHOTO TIP
Street photography is real easy to turn into all sorts of documentary photography. I love simple images of the street that depict life and have an element that indicates some kind of juxtaposition or relatable humour. Composition is the key here. Making sure your framing includes a way to see the direct link between the street and the message your capturing.
