Quite often the best photographs are the ones overlooked. Just because you photograph something, doesn’t mean there has to be something significant going on. Street photography can be of plain old street life. Don’t get mixed up with documentary photography, which more often depicts an event or a happening, but nevertheless, a quiet photograph can be just as interesting. Continue to follow the fundamentals of good composition, timing and exposure, but aside from that, your photograph is your canvas, own it.
