It was pouring rain and I was stuck under the Harbour Bridge for over an hour. A handful of boats went past, but what I wanted was the Luna Park Ferry. Finally it chugged its way toward me, so stood directly under the middle of the bridge to give a super wide expansive view of the area. As the ferry passed, I fired off shots, really happy with my luck in the torrential rain.

PHOTO TIP
Find ways to connect your city to it’s surrounds, it’s transport or it’s iconic landmarks. Most cities landmarks are instantly recognisable, so include them in your images. When it’s raining like this image, such places can take on an ethereal look, but remember to protect your gear though. I use a garbage bag when I need to, leaving just a lens cut out and a girls elastic hair tie to snap around the lens barrel. Works every time.
