Night 1 – We meet at our accomodation and spend an evening getting to know one another and what each of our experience and goals are. Steve and Mike step through the details of the next five days including our safety briefing.

DAY 1 – After meeting the evening before at our accomodation, we rise early and head for our very first location. We explore many of the aspects of the Daintree Rainforest, before heading deep into the forest to find our own vision of the area.

Night 2 – Dinner and drinks after Day 1, we discuss our findings that day and relax showing off our images. Steve and Mike step us through what’s expected the next day including our safety briefing.

DAY 2 – We visit a secluded area, off the back of the Mossman River, hidden from many maps that is deep in the wilds of the Daintree Rainforest. Here we start to explore techniques to capture your perfect image.

Night 3 – We revel in the day and look over our images at a local rainforest pub, soaking up the tropical atmosphere. Steve and Mike step through the details of the next day including safety briefing. Tomorrow is an early start, so early to bed, as we’ll be up at least 2 hours before the sun!

DAY 3 – Today we head for the coastline, from Cow Bay, all the way up into Cape Tribulation and beyond. We explore the mouth of the Daintree River and hone our skills in movement and composition. We even stop at beautifully hidden private swimming hole, surrounded by dense rainforest.

Night 4 – Tonight we share our images and spend some time going through workflow and tips and tricks with various software. Steve and Mike step through the details of the next day including safety briefing.

DAY 4 – We expand upon our locations and then put into practice the techniques we explored in the previous day, by visiting Emmagen Creek. This is your chance to hone the skills you have built, and tailor your photography style to your own individualism, not a text book guideline or article.

Night 5 – Tonight we have an early dinner and those who want to can join us for a late night astrophotography workshop until midnight that night, if the weather permits. If not we will spend the evening editing and looking over what we have captured. Steve and Mike step through the details of our last day together including any safety briefs.

DAY 5 – Today is up to you. We can collectively agree to revisit an area from the previous four days or you can go back to your own chosen location yourself (if you have transport). Around 3pm, we farewell each other, and exchange details to stay in touch and share our adventures on our Daintree Rainforest Photography Workshop!
