This is a street photography workshop, based in the the inner city of Sydney, Australia. It including walking long distances throughout the city, outdoor training sequences, shooting in whatever weather there is, and exploring one of the most historic places in Australia. Follow on offerings after the workshop will be made available to continue your journey with us, or we will assist you onto your next accomodation or to the airport if needed.

Please note accomodation, transport to and from the workshop, alcoholic beverages, tips, national park fees and other gratuities are not included.
DAY 1 – We meet early for breakfast and to head for our very first location in the iconic Rocks area of Sydney. We explore many of the aspects of the area, and set ourselves up for a day of technique building and getting to know our equipment thoroughly. We explore some relatively unknown areas that provide for some great opportunities to explore portraiture, documentary and abstract photography using high contrast black and white techniques.
Night 1 – After a late afternoon of exploring the Rocks and the harbour, we gather at a local restaurant for more discussions and some very special presentations of each of our images. Our day ends with a scrumptious dinner and drinks to look over the day’s images and chat about what we found and what we learned. We discuss ideas for the next day and get ready for another early start tomorrow.
DAY 2 – We meet again in the Rocks area for breakfast and head out for a series of scenarios to some of the most historic places in Sydney’s harbour. We build compositions and our understanding of capturing images in black and white. We test ourselves with some fun and enlightening ways to capture images to force our eyes to see better images. We end the day late with a summary and those who wish to stay can join us for a drink on us!

Please note that this is an outdoor workshop and will involve walking some long distances and accessing areas that may require a level of agility and physical fitness. If you are unsteady on your feet or unable to traverse terrain without risk of injury or other medical condition, please advise us, so we can assess your suitability. We may have an alternative solution for you to attend. You will need to sign and accept our terms and conditions when booking.
