This image takes me back to my teen years, when I was heavily into the graffiti scene in Sydney. I was influenced by lots of American graffiti back then and when I saw this street art, I just had to capture it. Seattle is peppered with street art, particularly around Pioneer Place so an image like this, just gives me a sense of place. I actually remember vividly the moment I captured this image too.

PHOTO TIP
If you have a connection to something from earlier in life, revisit it with your camera, and watch the memories come flooding back. There are a great number of places for me in the world that bring very strong and fond memories back. Whenever I have the chance I like to look back over them. Photographs are your memories in a moment, treasure them and look at them often.
